This project was a collective effort within our print production class. We each had two assigned dates during the year to design and print calendar pages on the risograph printer. The pages were 8x10 in size and were printed and collated in-house.
This collaborative endeavor brought us together to explore our creativity and printing skills. Working on the risograph printer allowed us to delve into the nuances of design and production, all while contributing to a cohesive and tangible project. It was a hands-on experience that not only honed our technical abilities but also fostered a sense of teamwork and camaraderie within the class.
In designing my pages, I aimed for a more subdued and refined approach, yet maximized the space creatively within the format of a calendar. My goal was to strike a balance between artistic expression and functionality, ensuring that each page remains both visually engaging and practical in its purpose.
